The best thing to happen to television was ... ABC3. It's so great that there is a channel completely dedicated to kids and young teenagers. The show I could watch over and over again is ... Summer Heights High. It's just "so random!"The show that has had the greatest influence on me is ... The Sleepover Club. It was the first big role I ever had on TV and I learnt so much from it.I always wondered why my parents watched ... the news. As a kid, TV was all about cartoons. When I was a kid, television ... was an after-school ritual. It was my wind-down time.I think teenagers and TV ... get along like two friends.I loathe but can't look away from ... shows with amazing fashion, such as ANTM, Gossip Girl, Sex and the City. I love all the clothes. Sometimes I tune into the fashion channel and just mindlessly watch clothes walk down the runway. On TV, I'd like to see more ... nature documentaries because it would give people a greater appreciation of how amazing our world is and maybe that will lead to a greater respect towards it.And less ... reality television. My dream TV job is ... I'd love to host a travel show one day aimed at young people just leaving school. I'm also a very keen actor so I'm interested in playing a variety of different characters. If I were a TV programmer, I'd ... put action sport on all morning to pump you up for your day, great movies and comedy cartoon series during the day for the rainy days off spent on the couch and at night there'd be some fantastic fashion shows (see above), then finally, documentaries on animals and nature for the rest of the night. My most recent DVD purchase was ... The Blue Planet. I fall asleep to David Attenborough's voice and the underwater world. It has the most amazing underwater cinematography. It's fun to watch DVDs but you can't beat live screenings of ... action films. My little living room TV doesn't do the action justice, it's got to be in the cinema for the full effect. The last film I watched had me really scared about the world ending. But I think if I watched it at home it wouldn't have had such an impact.Ads on telly ... can provide a much-needed toilet break or snack break but mostly are pretty annoying. Especially infomercials! I don't want to hear another ad for a kitchen appliance and I don't need an exercise machine I'll never use.I really regret ... not watching more event television. I miss so many points of conversation with friends and this year I also missed out on so many cooking tips. Everyone used to liken me to Poh (from MasterChef) and I didn't really know who she was.I think Sam Newman ... is someone that I had to look up just then because I didn't know who he was. Now that I know, I'm totally impartial. When I watch news and current affairs on TV I always ... wish there were more happy, uplifting stories and less tragedy in the world. I love hearing success stories, although I understand it's good to educate people about the bad stuff going on in the world. It would be nice if we were less attracted to tragic stories.Women on television ... are awesome! I especially love Sarah Murdoch €” she's gorgeous, talented, intelligent and generous and I believe she is such a great role model. But I think men in television are also awesome! When they go looking for a Logies host this year they should ... definitely look my way! But on a more realistic note, they should pick someone who is very funny. My 2010 TV resolution is ... not to miss the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I'm especially looking forward to watching snowboard half-pipe. I'm cheering for the Aussies to win. Go Nate Johnstone and Holly Crawford!
